With 2,700 acres of vineyards nourishing over 100 wineries, the state of Michigan is the fifth largest producer of wines in the United States. Many of the wineries are in the vicinity of Lake Michigan which provides a "lake effect" climate to protect them from extreme winter cold. Lois B. Sutton brings us this detailed Michigan Wine Collaborative map on a 1,000 piece puzzle framed by many of the best known wineries such as Northern Sun, East of Eden, Lazy Ballerina, and Oh Hell Yeah! Finished size 30" x 24".
